B2C Strategy Lead (Performance Marketing)

We’re partnering with a high-performing digital marketing agency looking for a B2C Strategy Lead to join their performance team.
This is a senior role where you’ll own the strategy, performance and client relationships across a portfolio of B2C brands while leading a small team of performance marketers.
Think of it as running a mini agency within the agency — responsible for guiding strategy, delivering strong results for clients, and developing the team around you.

What You’ll Be Doing
Own Client Strategy
Lead strategy across a portfolio of B2C and eCommerce clients
Translate business goals into full-funnel paid media strategies
Run client strategy sessions, performance reviews and planning conversations
Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
Drive Performance Marketing Outcomes
Oversee campaign strategy across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and other paid channels
Guide campaign structure, testing frameworks and optimisation strategies
Monitor performance and step in when strategic changes are required
Ensure campaigns are aligned with revenue and growth objectives
Lead a Performance Pod
Manage and mentor two media buyers
Run weekly planning sessions and prioritise workloads across accounts
Provide feedback, coaching and development support
Foster a high-performing and collaborative team culture
Creative & Testing Strategy
Collaborate on creative direction and campaign briefs
Lead structured creative testing across paid social
Use insights and performance data to guide ongoing optimisation
Contribute to Agency Growth
Maintain strong client relationships and retention
Support new business opportunities through audits or strategic input
Share insights and learnings with the wider team
What We’re Looking For
5–8+ years experience in performance marketing
Strong background in paid social (Meta) and paid search (Google Ads)
Experience managing B2C or eCommerce client accounts
Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes
Experience mentoring or managing team members
Comfortable presenting strategy and performance insights to senior stakeholders
Experience working in an agency environment is highly regarded
