A leading digital agency is on the lookout for a seasoned Paid Media Account Director to take ownership of client strategy, lead high-impact campaigns, and elevate performance across Search, Social, and Programmatic. This role suits someone who thrives in a strategic leadership seat while staying close enough to the craft to ensure top-tier execution.
You’ll work across a mix of clients spanning ecommerce, services, and purpose-driven organisations — all with the common goal of driving measurable growth through smart, data-led media buying.
The Role
You’ll be the senior strategic partner across a portfolio of accounts, guiding clients, shaping media strategy, and ensuring campaigns deliver real business outcomes. Your expertise across Google Ads, Meta, and programmatic platforms will anchor the performance output, with bonus points for familiarity with The Trade Desk.
This role combines leadership, client partnership, and performance marketing in equal measure.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the senior client lead, managing relationships and guiding strategic direction
Oversee campaign builds, optimisation, pacing and performance analysis
Turn client goals into actionable media plans with clear KPIs
Collaborate closely with internal specialists and external technology partners
Deliver reporting, insights and future-focused recommendations
Stay across industry trends to identify new opportunities
Support new business activity and lead elements of pitch strategy
Requirements
6–7+ years in paid media, ideally within an agency or high-growth environment
Strong hands-on experience across Search and Social
Solid understanding of Programmatic; exposure to The Trade Desk is highly regarded
Proven account leadership capability with a track record of hitting performance targets
Analytical mindset with experience using GA4, Looker Studio or similar tools
Confident communicator — in client calls, presentations, and written strategy
Experience mentoring juniors and managing workflow across teams
